It has been all over the internet that Johnstone Mwakazi has resigned
from Citizen TV after working there for 8 years. Mwakazi has been the
real man on citizen TV. Mwakazi has fully explained why he resigned.
According to his friend, Mwakazi has resigned because of discrimination
and poor pay. He claims some people from a certain tribe are paid higher
than other people. A good example is Janet Mbugua who is now earning
903,451.66 Kenyan shillings per month whereas the person who follows her
earns 241,633.98 per month . " It is sad that a whole Citizen TV has
bring Tribalism to the work place " " I have decided to resign and look
for a better place where you are paid for what you do not where you come
from" Said Mwakazi.
Citizen TV is notorious in discriminating people based on their
tribes. Other great journalists are also expected to leave Citizen
because they say that they are tired . Lets promote Unity and cohesion.
Citizen, like any other institution must not discriminate on people
